Futorian Furnishings Promotes Sales Team Members

Futorian Furnishings, Inc. named two regional vice presidents and a sales training and development manager as the company continues to strengthen its sales team to better serve all customers. Dwight Hardison, hired in 1995 as a director of sales and marketing, was named Regional Vice President of Sales - Central Division. He also will temporarily oversee the Eastern Division until the position is filled. William W. Herrmann was promoted to Regional Vice President of Sales- Western Division. He previously was a sales representative for key accounts on the west coast, and has worked for the company for 19 years. Furniture has been the focus of Hardison's professional career. After working in his family's retail furniture business, he joined Berkline Corporation and served in several sales and merchandising positions. Hardison resides in Tupelo, MS. Herrmann worked for five-and-a-half years at Levitz prior to joining Futorian. He resides in Los Angeles. In another promotion, Futorian named Sue Thoma to the new position of Training and Development Manager. She will be responsible for developing internal and retail training programs which will be launched in 1998 as part of Futorian's emphasis on a service-oriented sales strategy. Thoma, formerly director of field sales service, has been with the company since 1992. Futorian Furnishings, Inc. represents Stratford, Stratolounger, Simmons Upholstery and Barcalounger.
