Unfinished Furniture Association to Convene in Reno , June 20-23

The Unfinished Furniture Association (UFA) will hold its next annual national convention and trade show June 20 through 23, 1998 at the Reno Sparks Convention Center in Reno, Nevada. More than 120 companies are expected to exhibit at the show which is anticipated to draw over 1,200 attendees.
Trade show exhibits will be open on Sunday, June 21, from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm; on Monday, June 22, from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm; and Tuesday, June 23, 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. Unfinished tables, chairs, beds, dressers and other types of furniture, as well as a whole array of finishes and stains to customize pieces will be on display.
In addition to exhibits, the trade show also hosts Education Day, eight hours of industry-specific seminars on Saturday, June 20, as well as industry "Idea Exchanges" before the trade show exhibits open on Sunday and Monday.
Admission to the exhibits, Education Day and Idea Exchanges is free for UFA members, $15 for nonmembers.

The Unfinished Furniture Association, founded in 1990, has a membership of more than 750 retailers, manufacturers, and sales representatives in the United States and Canada. Formed to educate consumers about the benefits of unfinished furniture, the association offers seminars, a bimonthly four-color magazine with display advertising, an annual industry trade show, and other member benefit programs.
