Jerry W. Greene, Jr. promoted to President of Hanes Industries

Jerry W. Greene, Jr. has been promoted to President of Hanes Industries of Conover, North . Mr. Greene has been with Hanes since June of 1983 and has served in numerous positions in Product Management, Marketing, and Operations. His most recent position was Executive Vice President of the company. Hanes Industries is a division of Hanes Companies, a subsidiary of Leggett & Platt, Incorporated of Carthage, Missouri. They are a distributor and converter of woven and nonwoven component textile products for the furniture, bedding, home furnishings, and related markets. Hanes Industries has nine locations in the U.S. and has locations in Canada and the U.K. Mr. Greene replaces Michael Walters who has assumed new responsibilities as President of the Residential Furniture Group of Leggett & Platt, Incorporated.
