The North Central Home Furnishings Representatives Association announced awards during the Minneapolis Home Furnishings Winter Market at a ceremony in the Atrium at International Market Square on Thursday, January 28, 1999. The evening was attended by more than 200 retailers, representatives, manufacturers and guests. The following 1998 awards were given: Dealer of the Year -- Fischer Furniture, Rapid City, South Dakota Buyer of the Year -- Joe Perfetti from Anderson Furniture Company in Duluth, Minnesota. Bruce Roleau of Anderson Furniture Company was the 1997 Retail Salesperson of the Year. Retail Sales Person of the Year -- Colleen Krause from Simonet's Furniture in Stillwater, Minnesota. Representative of the Year -- Rick Eich (Action Furniture by Lane)
