IFTLC Elects Officers – Directors For 2004

At its recent annual meeting, members of the International Furniture Transportation and Logistics Council, Inc., - the worldwide organization of furniture transportation and logistics professionals - elected officers and directors to serve beginning January 1, 2004. Officers elected to one-year terms include Leonard Smolinski, Simons Company, Chairman of the Board of Directors; Russell Matthews III, La-Z-Boy, President; Jeff Sears, Art Van Furniture, Vice President, and Ray Bohman, Bohman Industrial Traffic Consultants, Inc., Secretary-Treasurer. Elected to the Board of Directors for three-year terms include William Contaxis, Sr., Purnell Furniture Services, Inc.; Peter Ross, Restoration Hardware; Walter Scott, McArthur Express; Ron Choka, Roncho Logistics; Ray Bohman, Bohman Industrial Traffic Consultants, and Jeff Sears, Art Van Furniture. Continuing on the Board are Leonard Smolinski, Simmons Company; Russell Matthews III, La-Z-Boy; William Hilash, Palliser Furniture Ltd.; David Leach, Aspen Furniture, LLC; Fred Murrow, Murrow's Transfer; Michael Richard, Robb & Stucky; James Harwell, Harwell Distributing, and Richard Purnell, Purnell Furniture Services.
