Terra Do Brazil Signs Key Industry Pro To Head North American Sales

Terra do Brazil announced the hiring of Mr. Fadi Bassil, as their new National Sales Director. Mr. Bassil gained valuable experience and powerful contacts as the Florida and Latin American Regional Sales Manager at Shelby Williams, who is among the world’s largest furniture manufacturers. Mr. Bassil’s role at Terra do Brazil will be to assemble and coordinate an extensive sales team in the United States and Canada. “This is a key hiring and potentially the strongest action ever made for the improvement of Brazilian furniture sales outside of Brazil,” said Robson Oliveira, President of Terra do Brazil. “Fadi provides us with the right background, contacts and leadership to help us meet our goal of increasing Brazilian furniture exports from $150 million to $600 million by end of 2004.” Mr. Bassil has had large-scale success throughout his career in banking, export and International sales. He is fluent in English, French, Spanish, German and Arabic. Mr. Bassil graduated with a Law Degree from St. Joseph University and Bachelors in Business Administration from the American University of Beirut.
