David Gilfoyle Named National Sales Manager For Universal Shows, Inc. And Western Exhibitors, LLC

Universal Shows, Inc. announced the promotion of David Gilfoyle as National Sales Manager for Universal Shows, Inc. and Western Exhibitors, LLC. Gilfoyle currently holds the title of Show Manager for the Portland Gift & Accessories Show® and will continue to oversee the production of that event. The position of National Sales Manager is diverse in its day-to-day activities. Gilfoyle’s new responsibilities will now include overseeing all exhibit sales, lead generation and exhibitor prospect follow-up for the San Francisco International Gift Fair®, The Seattle Gift Show®, The Portland Gift & Accessories Show, The San Francisco Cash & Carry Show, The Seattle Cash & Carry Show and The Portland Cash & Carry Show. Collectively, these show have a combined inventory of over one million net square feet of annual exhibit space. ”David first came to Western Exhibitors in 2000 and quickly proved himself as a top salesman with innovative ideas,” stated Mike Dean, President of Universal Shows, Inc./Western Exhibitors, LLC. “We know that his enthusiasm for the business and hands-on experience will benefit our entire staff and future clientele as well,” continued Dean. “We have experienced sales managers here, and I look forward to meet the challenges Universal Shows, Inc./Western Exhibitors, LLC have set for our company. Gilfoyle joined Western Exhibitors, LLC in 2000 and was promoted to Show Manager of the Portland Gift & Accessories Show in 2002. A graduate of the University of Iowa, he began his career by starting his own business, Gilfoyle Associates, representing hundreds of gift lines from national manufacturers in dozens of trade shows for over 20 years—beginning with the Portland Gift & Accessories Show. Gilfoyle has three daughters and resides in Novato, California with his wife Angie.
