Unfinished Furniture Association Earns International Award

The Unfinished Furniture Association (UFA) recently received an international APEX award at The Sixteenth Annual Awards for Publication Excellence. UFA proudly accepted the award in the Print Ads and Advertorials category for the 2004 Trade Show Ad, "Rock N Memphis." Publications submitted to the competition were judged on the basis of graphic design, editorial content, and overall communications effectiveness. The international competition is sponsored annually by the editors of Writing That Works: The Business Communications Report. More than 5,000 entries were submitted this year for consideration, making the competition exceptionally intense. "The "Rock N Memphis" ad was the perfect combination of information and eye-catching design," says Dave Sommer, UFA President. "The designer was able to creatively capture the atmosphere of the convention, and convey all of the information necessary to our audience."
