USA Baby Store Opening In North L.A. Metro

USA BABY, a leading specialty retailer of infant and children’s furniture and accessories, is opening a new store at the intersection of 57 Freeway and Arrow Highway. The store will be located at 871 W. Arrow Hwy. in the San Dimas Plaza. The new store opened August 4, 2004. Carolyn & Del Guess are the owners of the new USA BABY retail store. This is their first USA BABY franchise, and they are excited about the opportunities being presented to them to help the people in the North L.A. Metro area with their needs as new parents. According to Del, “USA BABY is a great place to shop; we carry everything new parents need. We are a one-stop specialty retail infant and children's furniture store.” He added, “We visited several USA BABY stores, and heard many good things about them. We liked the way products were displayed and marketed. And we were impressed with how USA BABY prides themselves on high quality service and products.” In fact, this is why the Guess’s went into business; they wanted to help new parents find what that they want and need for their babies. According to Carolyn, “Having a baby is a special time in a person's life. We want to help parents provide for their children’s most basic needs. Carolyn & Del’s new store also includes a CHILD SPACE section, which serves the needs of parents with young and teenage children. Del has 25 years experience in the oil industry with ARCO and BP, most recently as the L.A. Basin District Manager at BP Pipelines North America. Carolyn was a Special Education Teacher in the Cypress School District Autism Program for 10 years The Guess’s live in Cypress with their 3 daughters, ages 22, 21 and 17: Becky, Casandra and Angela.
