Amy Knowles, owner, announced the launch of a new wholesale art and gifts business, named “SWIRLS OF COLOR”, www.swirlsofcolor.com, which represents various highly talented artists, crafters and manufactures from around the world. “Finding talented artists who have not had proper representation and providing them the opportunity to offer their talents to the national wholesale market place is one of my major goals”, states Ms. Knowles.  Many Artists and Gifts offered are new to the United States and/or are "never-before-seen" to the wholesale market.   She is always searching for new artists to represent to provide buyers with constantly expanding choices. The talent of Artists presently includes Joe Norris, Maud Lewis, Lili Webber, Paul C. Moran, Irina Delof, Tom Robinson, Marcia M. Devlin and George Wise.  Buyers will find an interestingly varied collection of Gifts from Durwin Rice’s “New Decoupage”, Bell Angel Collectables and the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia.  There is also a great collection of Note Pads from Listys Inc. and Greeting Cards from The Art Gallery of Nova Scotia, Cat Fish Greetings and from some of the artists listed above.  Mindful that retailers are always searching for new and exciting merchandise to offer their customers, Swirls of Color regularly introduces new and some never before seen art and gifts Amy Knowles believes the wholesale pricings offered will enable retailers to sell the work at competitive retail prices.  Also an attraction for many shoppers will be Swirls of Color’s pledge to donate 10% of the net profits to the Alzheimer’s Association Amy Knowles, Curator of Swirls of Color, has a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts in Interior Design from New York Institute of Technology in Old Westbury, New York.    She also studied at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York, Philadelphia College of Art and The Shelter Institute in Bath, Maine. Amy was an Interior Designer for more than 30 Years and a sales representative to the commercial business community. As such she has specified and purchased art for numerous corporations and private residences. One of her special interests includes the coordination of space relationships, color and texture; important elements of the design process.
