MGM Transport Corp. Opens New Terminal Facility In New Jersey

MGM Transport Corp. announced plans for the opening of a new terminal facility in Ridgefield, New Jersey. The 60,000 square foot facility will provide the complete array of MGM services including container devanning, warehousing and distribution (short term and long term) local distribution and home delivery prepping. The facility is scheduled to open in September. The Ridgefield terminal is a result of growth in business and the need to provide increased service capabilities in the Northeast. “We searched extensively to locate the best facility,” explained Louis Massood, Executive Vice President. “The Ridgefield location allows us close proximity to the New York metropolitan area. We’re only three miles from the George Washington Bridge, so we have excellent access to primary corridors to all states in the Northeast. We’re also close to the ports, which is very important for the import business.
