Thomasville Furniture Industries Names New VP, Human Resources and New VP/Chief Information Officer

Thomasville Furniture Industries has promoted Rick Millen to the position of Vice President, Human Resources and Terry Bargy to the position of Vice President and Chief Information Officer. As Vice President of Human Resources, Mr. Millen is responsible for the overall operation of the Human Resources department including Compensation & Benefits, Safety, Workers Compensation and Personnel Services. Prior to his promotion, Millen held the position of Director, Human Resources. Rick has spent his entire twenty-eight year career at Thomasville having started in the accounting department after graduating from Appalachian State University. “Rick has a great deal of experience and an extensive background in Human Resources which will continue to serve our Company and employees very well,” said Paul Dascoli, Executive Vice President of Thomasville Furniture. “His dedication and knowledge of our Company will help ensure his success as he leads this very important department.” Terry Bargy will replace Ames Flynn as Vice President and Chief Information Officer. Ms. Bargy joined Thomasville in 1997 as Manager of Network Services and has held a number of positions of increased responsibility in the IS department including Director of Information Systems which she was promoted to earlier this year. Prior to Thomasville she was with Champion Products and Unifi, Inc. “Terry has proven she is capable of learning and succeeding in new positions very rapidly.
