WithIt Appoints Stanley's Robin Campbell President

Members of WithIt (Women in the Home Industries Today) have selected Robin Campbell, of Stanley Furniture Company, Inc, as president. She succeeds Jackie Hirschhaut of AFMA, who becomes board chairman. "This new board comes together with a crystallized sense of purpose as we dedicate ourselves to leading WithIt to greater significance as a powerful pathway to business excellence,² said Campbell. ³We remain concerned about and committed to the interest and needs of our business community and our members as we continue to encourage and develop leadership, mentoring, education and opportunity for professional women in the home furnishings industries.² Other members of the WithIt executive committee are: vice president/president elect, Kathy Wall, The Media Matters; secretary, Kelly Peterson, House Beautiful/Hearst Group; and treasurer, Darlene Leonard, BDO Seidman. Executive committee members serve one-year terms. Regional vice presidents serve two-year terms and are responsible for organizing events and opportunities for members in their areas. They also represent their membership to the board.
