WithIt Appoints Stanley's Robin Campbell President

Members of WithIt (Women in the Home Industries Today) have selected Robin Campbell, of Stanley Furniture Company, Inc, as president.
She succeeds Jackie Hirschhaut of AFMA, who becomes board chairman.
"This new board comes together with a crystallized sense of purpose as we dedicate ourselves to leading WithIt to greater significance as a powerful pathway to business excellence,² said Campbell. ³We remain concerned about and committed to the interest and needs of our business community and our members as we continue to encourage and develop leadership, mentoring, education and opportunity for professional women in the home furnishings industries.²
Other members of the WithIt executive committee are: vice president/president elect, Kathy Wall, The Media Matters; secretary, Kelly Peterson, House Beautiful/Hearst Group; and treasurer, Darlene Leonard, BDO Seidman. Executive committee members serve one-year terms.
New vice presidents/committee chairs, serving for one year, are: marketing, Stephanie Lowder, Graphic Solutions; membership, Kathleen Holterman, French Heritage; mentoring, Mary Frye, HFIA; education, Brenda Plowman, Hamilton & Spill; networking, Jane Matteson, Matteson Consulting; and scholarship, Sev Ritchie III, FurnitureFan.com.
Regional vice presidents serve two-year terms and are responsible for organizing events and opportunities for members in their areas. They also represent their membership to the board. They are: in San Francisco, Linda Carey, Ruddell & Associates; in Texas, Lynn Gerber-Jenkins, Four Hands; in Florida, Liz O¹Brien, Carter & Star Intl.; in Los Angeles, Karen Wade, Karen Wade Associates; in New York, Jody Seivert, 1X1 Companies; in Chicago, Barbara Jenkins, Kincaid Furniture; and in the Virginias/Carolinas, Karen Tucker, Market Press.
Named as at-large board members, representing various segments of the industry, are: sales representative, Peggy Christmas, Leggett & Platt; accessories manufacturer, Kae Pak, Toyo Trading; upholstery manufacturer, Carrie Bleile, Flexsteel; showrooms/buildings, Ann Richards, MMPI; and supplier, Patty Toler, MGM Transport.
