Palecek Hires David Preuss as Executive Vice President

Palecek, a national manufacturer of distinctive furniture, accessories, and lamps, announced the hiring of David Preuss as executive vice president.
In this newly created position, Preuss will be responsible for implementing Palecek’s long-term strategic planning initiatives. Reporting to Palecek Founder and President Allan Palecek, Preuss will oversee corporate sales and marketing as well as focusing on creating efficiencies throughout the organization.
“We are pleased to have David on board and believe his experience, background, and skill set will be a significant asset to our company,” said Palecek. “Adding him to our management team is an important step in Palecek’s future.”
Preuss brings to Palecek nearly twenty years of experience in the furniture and manufacturing industries, having promoted some of the most recognizable brands. Most recently, Preuss served as the Executive Vice President for Texas-based Sagus International the largest educational/institutional furniture manufacturer in the nation. Prior to Sagus, Preuss spent eight years as the Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing of Good Companies, a leading case goods manufacturer/ importer based in Carson, California. In addition, Preuss has over ten years of experience working for Procter & Gamble, Nestle USA, and Hewlett-Packard.

Palecek’s growth strategy includes the creation of a hospitality division, which Palecek Vice President George Van Ess will now lead. “George’s contribution to Palecek’s success over the last 13 years is unquestionable,” said Palecek. “George’s new focus combined with David’s new role will translate into a significant expansion in that segment.”
