Biltmore Estate For Your Home announced a renewed licensing relationship with the Carolina Mirror organization, which includes its sister division Collective Images, through a recently signed partnership with Gardner Glass Products of Wilkesboro, NC. “We’re very pleased to be reunited with our old friends at Carolina Mirror,” said Tim Rosebrock, Director of Business Development, Biltmore Estate Brands Group. “Both of our organizations enjoyed substantial success in the past and we’re convinced of the potential the future holds based on this history as well as the strong corporate support that Gardner Glass Products brings to the equation.” Gardner Glass purchased the Carolina Mirror business in fall of 2002, bringing the Carolina Mirror and Collective Images product lines together into one seamless distribution network. Biltmore first granted a license to Carolina Mirror in 1998 for a line of decorative mirror frames created from the vast frame collection accumulated by George W. Vanderbilt at his historic property, Biltmore House. The new arrangement reunites the Carolina Mirror marketing, design and sales team with Biltmore Estate For Your Home for a larger more diverse product line. “ We look forward to a renewed partnership with Biltmore Estate” said Tommy Huskey, President and CEO of Gardner Glass Products. “This assortment of mirrors and art will enhance Carolina Mirror/Collective Images position in the marketplace.” The line will include an updated presentation of the most successful mirror frames brought to market previously by Carolina, in addition to totally new mirror frames. This new license also provides Gardner with the rights to wall décor that will include framed prints styled to reflect the lifestyle exhibited at Biltmore House, as well as original oils of beautiful vistas on the 8,000-acre property. The introduction at the upcoming October International Home Furnishings Market in High Point is targeted at 40 skus.
