Alexander Julian Collaborates With Miresco Decorative Rugs

Alexander Julian Incorporated has teamed with Miresco Decorative Rugs to produce a licensed collection of rugs for Alexander Julian at Home®, set to debut at the October International Home Furnishings Market. The rugs, offered in four constructions and in a wide range of price points, will be distributed through furniture retailers, department stores, catalogs and other independent retailers. “We are excited about the collaboration with Miresco and welcome them to the Alexander Julian roster of licensees,” says Bruce Tilley, president of Alexander Julian at Home. “We have been working together to create an exciting line that combines Alexander Julian’s exceptional sense of design and color with Miresco’s amazing rug making capabilities. We have succeeded beyond our greatest expectations.” Beyond their design and manufacturing expertise, Miresco was selected as an Alexander Julian At Home brand partner “because of their proven ability to offer peerless quality service to all its retailers,” notes Tilley. The rugs, available in more than 40 sizes and color ways, will include traditional, transitional and contemporary styles with a variety of elegant and sophisticated motifs. Crafted of natural materials, including wool and jute, the rugs will be available in four constructions: machine woven, hand tufted, natural fiber and hand knotted. Rugs will range in size from 5’ x 8’ to 9’ x 12’. Retail prices for a 5’ x 8’ rug will start at $109 and go up to $899, depending on the materials and construction. The collection, designed to coordinate with Alexander Julian At Home furnishings, will be displayed and sold at the Miresco showroom at 305 North Main Street, High Point, NC.
