Haven® Magazine Announces Holiday Publication

The Holiday issue of the Home Furnishings Council's consumer lifestyle magazine Haven® is now available for shipment. Produced quarterly, Haven is a marketing tool for home furnishings retailers, written by the home furnishings industry. “Haven is a tool for store owners to use to invite customers into their stores four times a year. These frequent invitations and trips to stores increase the consumer's comfort with the store. The exposure to beautiful furnishings creates the desire to make changes to their homes. Comfort with a store, exposure to new furnishings, and a desire to make changes sounds like sales to me,” says Mary Frye, Haven's executive publisher. Retailers using Haven for marketing purposes report success stories like store owner Tom McMinn. He gives a supply of Haven® magazines, labeled with his store's information, to key Realtors in his trade area. The magazines are given to the Realtors' customers who can become McMinn's customers when they move into their new homes.
