Bob Rosenblatt named V.P. of Bush Commercial Furniture Sales

Bush Industries, Inc. (NYSE: BSH), has named Bob Rosenblatt Vice President of Commercial Furniture Sales. He reports to Dave White, President, Bush North America. His position at Bush is a newly created one that will focus specifically on the commercial office case goods channel. "Bob's strong background in both commercial and middle market wood and laminate furniture will fortify the Bush commitment to the commercial furniture market," said White. He continued, "Our vision in the channel is a complete line of desking systems, case goods and multi-function table offerings, and Bob can make this happen." Rosenblatt will focus on Bush's Röhr™ brand to expand market share. The Techno™ line is Rohr's workhorse in the commercial channel and has shown great promise in recent months. "We added 70 Techno dealer showrooms in the first 90 days after the NeoCon launch," said Rosenblatt. "If the first three months are any indication of the market's receptivity for this line, the future looks bright for Techno." The Techno collection has components with thermally-fused laminate surfaces. Its contemporary design features include steel legs, mesh modesty panels, tambour doors and a series of innovative conferencing and storage options. Rosenblatt came to Bush in March from DMI Office Furniture, where he was Vice President of its Commercial Office Furniture division.
