Arason Enterprises, Inc. announced the latest addition to the Fu-Chest bed line, the Chantilly. The Fu-Chest is a space-saving bed hidden in an attractive cabinet. The Chantilly, with a sophisticated natural-white, distressed finish, features diagonal wainscoting and generous beaded molding on faux doors and drawers.  “The Chantilly Fu-Chest has a great finish and look for resort properties. I think it will fit in well at resorts where people need to sleep extra guests,” said Jane Arason, CEO of Arason Enterprises, Inc. Sporting an upscale look in futon furniture, the versatile Fu-Chest collection fits into any décor. Other styles in the Fu-Chest line include: The Mission style, with traditional lines, available in either a medium oak or a dark oak finish; The Cosmopolitan Style, with a contemporary look, available in either a natural birch or a dark mahogany on birch finish and; The Williamsburg, featuring classic styling and fluted columns, available in a red mahogany finish. Suggested retail price for the Fu-Chest ranges from $349 to $488, depending on style and size. Futon mattress is sold separately. All four styles are available through retailers or on-line merchants.  All offerings can be seen on the web site at www.fu-chest.com. The Fu-Chest quickly converts with ease from a tasteful accent piece to a full-length futon bed.  Its small footprint, classic design and clever functionality make consummate use of space. When closed, the Fu-Chest conceals and protects the bedding in an attractive chest with practical tabletop surface and well-appointed hardware. When opened, the Fu-Chest provides twin or full size sleeping comfort complete with headboard. After use, simply fold up the Fu-Chest and lock the side draw catches. The Fu-Chest permanently houses any standard six-inch full or twin futon. It is built to last with tongue and groove, sturdy case construction and reinforced side panels, and it moves easily about the room on glides. Company President Jane Arason thought of the Fu-Chest when she and her husband Jon were trying to fit an extra bed into one of their smaller rooms. “Futons are very comfortable, but the futon sofas and chairs I looked at took up too much space. The Fu-Chest solves the problem of fitting a bed into limited space,” said Jane. “Friends and family were so enamored of Jon’s prototype that it was decided to introduce the Fu-Chest to the furniture market.” The Fu-Chest bed (patent-pending) fills the need for an extra bed in small apartments, dens, lofts, home offices, beach condos, ski lodges, and cabins. “Our slogan ‘sleeping places in small spaces’ sums up the idea behind the Fu-Chest,” she continued. The Fu-Chest is imported from China. All styles are available in twin or full.  For more information, contact Jane Arason at 410-703-4412.
