GERS Retail Systems Announces, New Vice President, Executive Promotions

GERS Retail Systems, a leading provider of business solutions for the retail industry, announced the hiring of a new Vice President and two new executive promotions.
John Sailer has joined GERS as their new Vice President of Strategy and Solutions. Sailer will be responsible for leading the company’s marketing strategy, business consulting, and business development functions to ensure consistency between GERS’ business strategy, solutions portfolio, and value messages delivered to customers. Sailer brings 16 years of leadership experience across the software sales, services, and development lifecycle working with retail and consumer goods clients to build and deploy leading-edge retail strategies and solutions. He will report to Jim Henderson, President and CEO of GERS.
Mardig Ghazarian has been promoted to Chief Technology Officer. He will oversee the core technologies that underlie the solutions developed at GERS, and manage a team of technology specialists and engineers who are responsible for the design and development of the architecture, framework, and tools that support GERS’ products.
Thomas Mudd has been promoted to Vice President of Development. He is responsible for all phases of software product development, including design, programming, quality assurance, documentation, and software maintenance, and will lead a team of more than 100 software developers who create the GERS software solutions and ensure that they meet clients’ business needs.
