WHFA Signs Resource CenterSpace Agreement at Las Vegas World Market Center

The Western Home Furnishings Association announced that it will be taking space in Phase 1 of theLas Vegas World Market Center, set to open in July 2005. ”WHFA will have a state-of-the-art Retail Resource Center on the second floor of Phase 1, with the express purpose of facilitating educational seminars, events, and showcasing retail support vendors for its members and all attendees” explainsSharron Bradley, WHFA Executive Director. The WHFA management team and Board of Directors has expressed a strong, positive vision for the industry and the newResource Center will reflect that vision. The 8,000 sq/ft, technologically-advanced facility will have a cutting edge design and many retailer support services. Bradley states, ”Retailers have expressed their plans to attend the new Las Vegas Market and we intend to be where can serve our members best.” Dave Palmer, General Manager of the WMC, “We are very excited that WHFA will be joining us inLas Vegas. They are a tremendous organization providing continued education and leadership to the industry. It will make the Las Vegas Market that much stronger to have member-organizations such as WHFA on board in July 2005, ready to offer a variety of resources to our attendees."
