The first Crate and Barrel homestore in Indiana will open on November 10, 2005 in Fashion Mall at Keystone Crossing. Indiana shoppers who have driven all the way to Chicago for Crate and Barrel's merchandise can now find Crate & Barrel's furniture and housewares collections conveniently located at this popular and easy-to-find Indianapolis mall.
Accessible directly from the parking lot or through the mall, customers can shop both floors by escalator or elevator. The first floor contains Crate and Barrel's well-known and popular collections of tabletop, giftware, lifestyle furniture, and seasonal products, along with the kiosks that contain their nationwide Gift and Bridal Registry (http://www.crateandbarrel.com/gr ). When the store opens on Thursday, the holiday gift-giving and entertaining season will be evident throughout. Displays will be visually exciting, showing off the merchandise in innovative groupings; dramatic, yet user-friendly to the shopper.
The second floor contains the eclectic and much sought-after furniture collections, shown in vignettes that help the customer visualize how each item will look in their home. The collections of sofas and chairs, dining tables and bedroom sets, and fabulous home accessories are chosen for their value and their immediate fashion appeal, yet they are long-lasting, with classic lines and shapes. Specially designed fixtures make it easy to browse through the area rugs in many sizes and styles, as well as the new collection of exciting curtain panels and hardware.
An invitation-only preview party will be held on Wednesday, November 9th, to benefit The Children's Museum of Indianapolis, and a percentage of sales through November 13th will be donated to this world-famous institution. For further information on this, please the Museum at (317) 334-4000.
