During the upcoming 2004 NHFA/WHFA All-Industry Convention in Phoenix, AZ, retailers from across the nation will be able to connect with each other in interactive networking sessions and have untapped resources discovered during B2B and Manufacturer/Retailer panel discussions. The convention’s journey of discovery theme “Out West, Where Legends Begin” will be typified in these powerful “people” sessions.“ The networking and the workshops are the reason I come to the Convention. The ideas and solutions I pick up here more than pay for my attendance” explains Giff Gates, WHFA President, Gates Home Furnishings, Grants Pass, OR.
The networking session is the unique opportunity to engage with retailers from across the nation and share profit-building/expense reducing ideas and practices. This is always the most powerful session during the convention and now it is to be followed by an equally powerful networking luncheon, where the best of the best ideas and concepts will be illuminated by industry favorite, Jerry Epperson.
The two panel sessions, “B2B” and “Manufacturer/Retailer”, are both designed and moderated around the process of discovering new and better ways of doing business and improving distribution and marketing to consumers. Panelist for the “B2B – Gaining the Completive Advantage” include: Tom Mauro, Treasures, Poway, CA, Pedro Capo, El Dorado Home Furnishings, Miami, FL and Manoj Nigam, Exim Technologies, Greenville, SC. The panelist for the “Manufacturer/Retailer – Furniture Posse, Working Together to Round Up New Customers” are slated: facilitator - Ron Hoesterey, Royal Mattress, Orange CA, Dave Cavitt, Furniture Enterprises of Alaska, Anchorage AK, Scott Haigh, Fairchild Fine Furniture, Nancy Farina, California Design Center, Tucson AZ, Tom Tilley, Thomasville Furniture Industries, Larry Miller, Sit N’ Sleep, Carson CA, Gene Stoltz, Wolf Furniture, Bellwood PA.
