As part of its ongoing mission of providing Northern California retail buyers and design professionals with meaningful buying opportunities year-round, the San Francisco Mart announced a new monthly shopping promotion called “First Tuesday”.
During First Tuesday, which falls on the first Tuesday of each month, all San Francisco Mart showrooms will be open for business from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. This will enable retail buyers in the Bay Area and Northern California to replenish their inventories at the Mart’s furniture and accessory showrooms early in the week. Plus, the SF Mart will give buyers special perks that will make their shopping trip easy and affordable, such as complimentary continental breakfast, free lunch, free parking and a $15 gas card.
“Some of the Mart’s showrooms are always open on Tuesdays, but the First Tuesday will give buyers the opportunity to shop every showroom one Tuesday a month,” says Roseann Carini, the San Francisco Mart’s general manager. “The guaranteed hours, plus the amenities we are offering, will make the trip very productive for retailers and designers driving in for a day of shopping.”
Upcoming First Tuesdays are: March 7, April 4, June 6, July 11 (*alternate day to July 4), August 1, September 5, October 3, November 7 and December 5.
The First Tuesday program complements the Mart’s Third Thursday program which commenced last fall. Third Thursdays, which are geared more toward design professionals, allows designers to shop by themselves or with a client during extended hours. Approximately three-quarters of the Mart’s showrooms remain open until 7 p.m. on the third Thursday of every month for designers’ convenience.
“Our goal is to achieve continued growth by providing great customer service and meaningful programs for trade professionals in Northern California,” says Carini. “Through these programs, we are providing them with more convenient opportunities for them to shop, as well as creating vibrancy in the building throughout the year.”
With a history spanning four generations, the San Francisco Mart has a long legacy of providing design professionals and retail buyers with stylish furnishings, great value and meaningful educational opportunities.
The San Francisco Mart is located at 1355 Market Street between Ninth and Tenth streets and is open to retail buyers and design professionals throughout the year. For more information on events, please visit www.sfmart.com or call 415-552-2311.
