Summer & Casual Furniture Manufacturer's Association Names Flanders First Vice President

The Summer & Casual Furniture Manufacturers Association has named Dudley Flanders of Lloyd Flanders in Fort Smith, Ark., as first vice president following the resignation of Dale Boles of Brown Jordan International. Flanders will be nominated as president at the association's annual meeting in Chicago in September. At that time, Gary McCray of Laneventure will move from president to chairman, and two new officers will be elected as first and second vice presidents. Boles stepped down from the SCFMA board after he resigned as president of the Mass Market Division of Brown Jordan International in El Monte, Calif. He, has not formally announced his plans. The Summer & Casual Furniture Manufacturers Association is headquartered in High Point, N. C. -the furniture capital of the world - and represents more than 80 leading U.S. manufacturers of summer and casual products.
