La-Z-Boy, one of the nation’s leading manufacturers of upholstered furniture, recently honored its top-performing La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries® stores at an award ceremony held during the International Home Furnishings Market in High Point, N.C. The awards honored the top-performing free-standing proprietary stores based on 2005 shipments.
“The La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries system continues to be one of the fastest growing retail networks in the furniture industry with 50 new stores opening across the United States and Canada in the 2006 fiscal year,” said Steve Matlock, senior vice president of sales and marketing for La-Z-Boy. “These top-performing stores are crucial to our distribution and overall success, so it’s only natural that we recognize and thank some of the people that help make our company one of the most successful in the industry.”
