Milliken Carpet announced that its newest collection, the Milliken Décor Center, will be manufactured with the new Scotchgard protector & stain release from 3M. The innovative collection is unique in that it features two very advanced technologies, ColorSource™ and Scotchgard protector & stain release. Scotchgard protector & stain release for carpet features a soil resistant treatment that repels dirt and a stainblocker chemistry that provides resistance to acid dye stains on nylon carpet. Carpet treated with Scotchgard protector & stain release resists dirt, soil and stains, which keeps carpet looking good longer, and also offers a seven-year limited stain and soil warranty. Milliken is using Scotchgard protector & stain release for the first time with the introduction of its newest technology – ColorSource™, which provides consumers more choices in color from one system than any other industry manufacturer with 270 color offerings on five different bases including a textured Saxony, straight set Saxony, two friezes and a texture loop.
