World Market Center SM proudly announces a partial list of tenants in the home accent, decorative accessory and lighting segments. The cross-section of tenants will occupy floors three and four in Phase One, and include a combination of leading home accent and lighting manufacturers as well as companies with very specialized product offerings. “We have dedicated over 250,000 square feet of space to lighting, home accent and accessories category. We believe these tenants will further complement the line-up of large furniture and bedding tenants showcasing in Las Vegas,” said Dave Palmer, general manager and director of leasing for World Market Center SM. “These first-class manufacturers demonstrate the diversity of home furnishings and related segments that will be available at World Market Center SM – positioning Las Vegas as a ‘total resource’ for retailers.” Las Vegas market officials point to the endurance and popularity of the home accent category as a key ingredient to shaping a successful market. They expect the accessory and lighting segments to be tremendous growth areas for the industry, and plan to add more floors dedicated to these markets in subsequent phases. “We believe the home accent segment is a very important piece of the pie in terms of creating a complete market. Las Vegas will present mixed-use floors; and the accessories division will appeal to the same top retailers that will come to buy more traditional furnishings,” said Babs Blair, co-leasing manager. “This segment is also one of the most resilient in the industry. For example, in economic downturns consumers tend to buy more decorative accessory type pieces and postpone the larger furniture purchases. Home accents and related products are back in the marketplace more than ever.” Larry Leeb, executive vice president of Aesthetic Art and Frame, will be among the manufacturers leasing space at World Market Center SM. The company’s lines also include Windsor Art and Van Guard Art. “We fee that having a presence at World Market Center SM will give our companies added national exposure. Buyers, nationally and internationally, have shown interest to attend a Las Vegas market, mainly because of the appeal of Las Vegas itself and the quality of the facilities.” Eddie Singer of Transglobe Lighting said: “Las Vegas is a great opportunity for the lighting industry. We are very enthusiastic about our early commitment to this new market and look forward to its opening.” Below is a partial list of home accent, lighting and decorative accessory manufacturers who have signed leases with World Market Center SM: A&B Hongda • Accessories by Sherwood • Adesso • Aesthetic Art and Frame • Art Dreams • Artistic Lighting • Ashton Fine Art • Bailey Street Trading Company • Cal Lighting • Casual Lamps • Concord Fans and Lighting • DeNunzio • East Enterprise • Elk Lighting • Environ Trading Company • Expressions • Feather Light Lamp Company • Frederick Ramond • Genesis Fine Arts • Glenwood Design • Grandrich Corporation • Hallmark Lighting • Hi-Lite Manufacturing • Illumination Station • IMAX • Laguna Lighting • Landmark Lighting • Lite Sources • Livex Lighting • Meyda Tiffany • Monarch Collections • North Bay Collections • Nova Lighting • Picture Galleries • Privilege Enterprise • Robert Abbey • Sigma Universa • Somerset Studios, Inc • Staiart Enterprises • Trans Globe Lighting • Trend Lighting • Uttermos • Van Guard • Windsor Art Scheduled to open in 2004, World Market Center SM will be the largest home furnishings showroom complex in the West.
