Kathy Ireland, one of the nation’s most embraced designers with home-related products ranging from furniture to flooring has expanded her range of design with a Kathy Ireland Home partnership between her company and leading lighting manufacturer and distributor Pacific Coast Lighting.
In expanding her home design efforts to lighting, Kathy will now illuminate today’s homes so that families have affordable, stylish and brilliant lighting options for every environment, both in and outside of the house. This new association continues the diversification of the Kathy Ireland Home success story.
"We are thrilled to partner with the fastest rising star in the home design field," it was announced today, by Pacific Coast Lighting President Clark Linstone. "Kathy Ireland has turned out imaginative and popular products in every aspect of home furnishings she has touched. Kathy Ireland Home continues to be a key exciting story of the International Home Furnishing Market and we sought Kathy out to develop a partnership based on her insightful knowledge, design trends and unique relationship with our consumer. Her new home furnishing offerings with Standard Furniture and Style-Line received "Best of Market" accolades from numerous trade publications. Kathy has become a leading entrepreneur in the home fashion industry. In flooring she produces the top seven selling rugs for Shaw Rugs and is a rare winner of the prestigious Good Housekeeping Seal for consumer excellence. Many of the most respected corporations in America enjoy working with Kathy and her talented team, and we’re happy to join that illustrious list," Linstone further stated.
Kathy has written and provided commentary on residential lighting in numerous magazine publications including Good Housekeeping Do It Yourself, House Beautiful Home Remodeling and Decorating, House Beautiful Kitchens and Baths and Joseph Caroll’s design book The Perfect Home.
"Pacific Coast Lighting is recognized by consumers, leading retailers and trade publications as an outstanding firm that reflects the latest fashion and design trends with brilliant innovation and affordability. It’s an honor to partner with them," Kathy stated.
"Our new lighting program of Essentials and Gallery offerings is a natural extension of our home and fashion partnerships, and a logical place for my company to be of service as we find more solutions for families, especially busy moms," explains Kathy. "Lighting is the emotional way we experience a room. It accentuates or camouflages everything else. With proper lighting, families are able to celebrate the special ways they experience their home. Lighting is a magic ingredient in presenting a home, Kathy added."
Kathy’s entry into lighting extends two divisions of her home partnerships. Her award-winning outdoor living brand Jardin du Jour, which won the Gold Medal at the San Francisco Flower and Garden Show with landscape designer Nicholas Walker and A Cafe, her food and entertainment partnership with Chef Andre Carthen, will benefit Kathy’s consumers with specific lighting collections designed under each brand from her agreement with Pacific Coast Lighting.
"As a wife and mother of two small children, I understand a family’s need for their home to be beautiful and comfortable. We will continue to find the best home solutions with products, which address the needs of families, especially busy moms," explains Kathy.
