Laneventure to Show Jacques Pergay at SF Mart

Laneventure, the producer of fine indoor and outdoor wicker and rattan furniture, will be showing for the first time at the San Francisco Mart during Summer Market, July 19-22. The company will feature its Jacques Pergay collection, which has more than 100 new items including furniture, accents and tabletops, at the Design Collection in the Mart 1 Lobby. Making its West Coast debut, this collection is designed and distributed in Europe by Jacques Pergay Diffusion of Limoges, France. It was introduced during the April Market at the International Home Furnishings show in High Point, North Carolina. Laneventure opens up to a new consumer with the Jacques Pergay Collection. "Jacques Pergay will bring us a new consumer, one that is younger and edgier," says Gary McCray, vice-president of marketing. "This line is an exotic blend of materials with a relaxed mood. It's all about making your own choices." Given the design and marketing focus, Chuck Reilly, national sales manager, says the line is an excellent fit for Western consumers. "The casual elements of Jacques Pergay by Laneventure are important to the Western market," Reilly says. "Our space in the SFM will focus on those elements." The tag line for the collection is "Choose Not To Be Boring" and it's exemplified by the ottoman cushions of woven reed that can be thrown anywhere in the room to create extra seating. It's also about mixing contrasting items such as rustic iron and wicker tables with china tabletop from the Jacques Pergay factory in Limoges, home of the world's finest china. This collection includes mix and match items for the dining room and kitchen, the bedroom, living room or any other living arrangement.
