As consumers become increasingly educated about the environment and organic products, Vivètique, finds itself correctly positioned as a market innovator with two new additions to its extensive line of organic mattresses and bedding products. Vivètique introduced the “Easy Ship Bed,” which allows consumers to create mattress comfort levels to their specific requirements, and the “Old World Classic,” a more luxurious product offering that rests atop a eight-way, hand-tied boxspring, at the 2007 Las Vegas Market on January 27- February 2.
The "Easy Ship Bed" is made with the same comfortable and all-natural latex materials used in many of Vivètique’s other bestselling mattresses, but it is uniquely customizable with three layers or "zones" to the bed, each of which may be sold separately or as a set. The zones have varying degrees of firmness so the layers can be rearranged to make the sleep set more or less firm depending on each customer’s comfort zone requirements. The unique portability of these natural latex pieces, which can be easily rolled and packaged in a box and shipped via UPS, makes the sleep set more accessible and affordable to appeal to a larger consumer base.
Vivètique’s other new creation, the “Old World Classic” appeals to customers seeking the perfect combination of old world style and superior modern materials. Visitors at the Las Vegas show will be treated to an inside view of an “Old World Classic,” to showcase its old-world charm and performance of its eight-way hand-tied boxspring that is hand crafted and side-stitched to ensure optimal quality and longevity.
It is this spirit of invention, coupled with such careful devotion to quality craftsmanship that enables Vivètique to celebrate its 90th anniversary this year with growing success. In the last year alone, Vivètique’s explosive sales led to the doubling of its warehouse to 31,000 square feet and increase of its staff to 28 employees. Vivètique already distributes their line of organic sleep sets to more than 240 retail locations nationwide, but the company is now adding more mainstream stores to their client list. Most notably, Vivètique crib mattresses are now being offered at buybuyBABY’s group of eight retail stores in New York, New Jersey, Maryland and Virginia, as well as at the award-winning Bellini baby and teen furniture stores.
“People spend nearly a third of their lives in bed, so it makes sense that as consumers switch to organic food and clothing, they would also want organic bedding,” said Vivetique President and Chief Executive Officer Steve Carwile. “As the market continues to grow, Vivètique will remain in the forefront – expanding our range of organic products to ensure that as many people as possible get a comfortable and healthy night’s sleep.”
Vivètique’s mattresses, pillows and top of bed items use only the cleanest and purest natural fibers of the highest quality, and Vivètique’s (www.Vivètique.com) trademark line of Sonoma Wool™ products follows organic agricultural practices. Unlike some “green” cotton, which is not grown under any certified standards, Vivètique’s cotton products are made only from unbleached, un-dyed and certified organic cotton fibers.
Vivètique first opened its’ doors in the “Crown City” of Pasadena, California in 1917, where the company was originally known as Crown City Mattress. Today, twin brothers Steve and Scott Carwile are maintaining Vivètique’s status as the leading organic mattress manufacturer with decades of experience. Vivètique continues its’ mission of providing Vivètique customers with the most restful and healthy night’s sleep possible, without compromising a commitment to quality. Vivètique is proud to be celebrating its 90th anniversary this year. For more information about Vivètique Sleep Systems, visit www.Vivètique.com or call 1 (800) 365-6563.
