Myriad Software’s 13th annual Users’ Conference, “Transitions,” is slated for April 22 through 25, 2007 at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess Resort in Arizona. The format for the two-and-a-half-day event will include educational workshops, one-on-one sessions with Myriad staff, an introduction to new products and features, an inspiring keynote speaker and Myriad’s once-a-year-sponsored opportunity to gain important insight from colleagues. “This conference gives our clients a chance to network and share best business practices,” says Carolyn Crowley, co-founder and company president. “We use the conference to shine the spotlight on client success stories and to gather feedback on what our clients want us to do in the coming year.” In years past, the Myriad Users’ Conference has been a March event, but to avoid crossing calendars with new market dates, the business-system supplier decided to move the event to April. Each year Myriad selects an appealing venue for its conference, balancing an invaluable education with a refreshing mini-vacation. This year’s venue – the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess Resort – offers exciting water recreation, a luxurious spa and prime golf. The conference theme, Transitions, refers to the importance of meeting industry challenges with positive changes. Three experts with a first-hand understanding of making changes that work and work well – William Colgrove of Furniture Values International, Caroline Hipple from Storehouse Inc. and Lance Hanish of the global marketing communication firm Lance Benefeld & Co. – will share their best efforts at transitioning business and advertising for better market share. Sarano Kelley, a nationally recognized media coach, trainer and consultant, is the keynote speaker this year. In between the panel discussion and keynote speaker, attendees will benefit from a hands-on lab with the newest edition of Myriad’s Eclicktic™ business system; breakout sessions designed for accounting staff and system administrators; workshops geared toward owners, upper management and those who use the business system on a regular basis; plus private sessions with Myriad staff. Myriad always adds a fun component to its conferences. This year that will include a Western-themed welcome reception; an awards gala with a hosted cocktail party, banquet and dance; a Sunday morning golf game at the beautiful Pine Golf Course; and an evening of fine dining at The Grill Restaurant at the tournament Player Club of Scottsdale, home of the PGA Tour. Myriad’s clients include independent retailers doing $1 million and growing to $100 million, and most of the country’s top dealer programs. Any who have not registered for the Users’ Conference are encouraged to R.S.V.P. ASAP to Myriad at 800-676-4243 or execasst@myriadsoft.com.
