AHFA's Boling Named Vice President of Communications

The American Home Furnishings Alliance announced that Patricia Bowling has been named Vice President of Communications. AHFA is the largest trade association serving manufacturers and importers of residential furnishings. Bowling has directed communications for the 475-member Alliance since 2000. Her responsibilities include managing the Media Center for the High Point Market, which hosts the hundreds of journalists who cover the international home furnishings show each spring and fall. Bowling is a 20-year veteran of the home furnishings industry, having served as a writer, editor, publisher and association executive. The American Home Furnishings Alliance –located in High Point, N.C. and Washington, D.C. – is the largest association of home furnishings companies in the world and represents more than 250 leading furniture manufacturers and distributors, as well as 225 suppliers to the furniture industry worldwide.
