Lexington home Brands announced that The Tommy Bahama Collection is celebrating $500 million in sales for Lexington Home Brands. The company is paying tribute to Tommy Bahama’s popularity and proven retail success during the High Point Market, March 26-31.
“We’re incredibly proud of the longevity and success of the Tommy Bahama brand,” says Lexington President and CEO Phil Haney. “In fact, it has spawned a lot of similar looks in the marketplace. But only Lexington Home Brands has the original Tommy Bahama Collection. This has been one of our most popular lines, selling $500 million so far since its debut in April 2000. We’re celebrating the brand’s success, and reminding dealers of why it is the trendsetter, by placing the spotlight on the original collection this market.”
The whole-home upscale Tommy Bahama collection provides a sophisticated casual look inspired by an island state of mind. The furniture features vintage-inspired designs constructed of maple solids and veneers, cane, rattan, and leather. Coordinating upholstered pieces offer warm sunbaked colors and tropical themes.
“Consumers want original brands, not knock-offs, whether it is Rolex, Louis Vuitton, BMW or Opus One,” says Haney. “Today’s discriminating consumer knows that imitation products never live up to the original. Having an original best-selling brand on offer is one clear way to differentiate your store from the pack.”
Visitors to the Lexington Home Brands showroom during market will find the Tommy Bahama line in its place of prominence in the lobby entrance.
