Genesis Software Systems Announces Nationwide Small Group Workshops

Genesis Software Systems has partnered with Knowles Logistical Innovations to offer a series small group workshops for users of Genesis For Windows. The workshops will be held at various locations throughout the United States. This unique approach to conducting user group meetings allows Genesis clients to experience the benefits of a user group meeting in an intimate environment that is close to their home. Each workshop is limited to 5 companies in order to maintain a small class size (up to 2 attendees per company). "Keeping the number of people in each class down makes for a much more effective learning environment", says Brian Knowles, founder of K.L.I. A fully equipped computer classroom is setup during each workshop. Each attendee is given a laptop computer to use during the session. Examples and illustrations are presented via a video projector while attendees work through examples on their own systems. This "hands-on" format results in better retention of the information covered during the workshop. The workshops touch on all areas pertaining to the use of Genesis For Windows. Special emphasis is placed on these topics: • Implementing new features in the latest version of Genesis For Windows. • Power users' tips, techniques, and shortcuts. • Reporting features and capabilities. • Understanding the use of Microsoft Windows features in Genesis. A liberal amount of time is also devoted to question and answer sessions. The small group format provides for easier give and take during these sessions and has proven to be very productive.
