Aaron Rents, Inc. Elects David L. Kolb as Director

Aaron Rents, Inc. Kolb has been elected to fill a vacancy on its Board of Directors. Mr. Kolb is Chairman of the Board of Mohawk Industries, Inc. (NYSE: MHK), a leading supplier of flooring for both residential and commercial applications and a producer of woven and tufted carpet, rugs and ceramic tile. Mr. Kolb joined Mohawk in 1980 and was Chief Executive Officer from 1988to January 1, 2001. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Chromcraft Revington Corporation, Paxar Corporation, and The Georgia Chamber of Commerce. He is past Chairman and a member of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of the Carpet and Rug Institute. He is also on the Boardof Trustees and Executive Committee of Oglethorpe University and a Trustee of the Schenck School. In 1999, he was appointed to the Georgia Industry, Trade and Tourism Board. Aaron Rents, Inc., based in Atlanta, has more than 735 Company operated and franchised stores across the United States and Puerto Rico for the rentaland sale of residential and office furniture, accessories, consumer electronics and household appliances.
