IFAM To Produce Online And Print Furniture & Accessory Manufacturers Resource Directory For Buyers

The producers of The International Furniture & Accessories Marketplace which will be held in Las Vegas, at the Las Vegas Convention Center, February 4–6, 2004 have announced they are developing a preferred resource directory for all furniture and accessories buyers. This directory will be broken down into the two major categories, both furniture and accessories, listing manufacturers as well as importers, and will be an invaluable buying tool for the industry. Cindy Hunter, part of show management for this event and the person who is spearheading this program stated “We will be constructing an online directory that will offer the most up-to-date company information available. This will include everything, from a company’s basic contact information, to the newest and hottest lines or items they carry, plus every listing will have a hot link directly to the individual companies websites. In conjunction with this will be the printed version, the annual “IFAM Show Directory & Desktop Buyers Guide” which will mirror the online directory and be distributed to every buyer during the show, and all year long to buyers across the industry worldwide”. Hunter went on to say: “This directory will be marketed to the buyers through a broad multi-media advertising campaign and will be updated on an ongoing basis with input directly from the companies listed. We have developed similar program for other industries and they have proven to be powerful tools for both the buyers and the companies listed. Every company that participates in the 2004 IFAM show will be receiving their listing on-line and in print for free, and the on-line listing will run for an entire year”. IFAM is a worldwide event created to serve the Furniture & Accessory Retailers, Wholesalers, Contract & Hospitality Buyers, Interior Designers etc. across the entire spectrum of the industry.
