LaJobi Industries, Inc. Hires Barbara Rogers as Director of Marketing

LaJobi Industries, Inc., a designer, manufacturer and distributor of leading brands of juvenile furniture, announced that Barbara Rogers has joined the company as Director of Marketing. A 20-year veteran with extensive experience in all dynamics and facets of marketing, communications and sales integration, Rogers comes to LaJobi from Dolce International, a $200 million global hospitality company specializing in the meetings niche with 22 owned and managedproperties throughout North America and Europe.
In her position at LaJobi, Rogers will be responsible for driving all aspects of core marketing and communications programs for their five brands of juvenile furniture and related accessories, which include Bonavita, Babi Italia, ISSI, Europa Baby and Graco, as well as Serta Crib Mattresses. She will report to Larry Bivona, the company president.
At Dolce International since 2003, Rogers held a series of increasingly high-level marketing and communications roles where she directed the planning, execution and management of innovative initiatives throughout North America. She worked alongside individual property marketing executives to drive their respective marketing and public relations strategies which included the development and execution of corporate and property media campaigns, overseeing media placement and creative agencies and maintaining an online web-based ordering system for ordering ads, email blasts, direct mail and collateral materials. She was also accountable for partnership marketing programs to drive revenues with keyorganizations.
From 1986 – 2002, Rogers held a range of marketing and communications positions at companies such as the Thomas Cook Group, the leading global travel and foreign currency exchange company, Miele, a German-based manufacturer and seller of premium kitchen appliances and floor case products and Hanover Fairs, the world’s most active trade show organizer. She currently resides in Manalapan, New Jersey.
