Bindings Now Available In Outdura™ Acrylic Fabric

Shuford Mills Inc. has added bindings to its rapidly expanding family of premium Outdura™ woven acrylic fabrics for the marine, awning, furniture, umbrella and cushion markets. Steven E. Bowman, vice president of Shuford Mills, said the company added bindings to the product line in direct response to requests from the growing customer base. “We continue to be focused on providing manufacturers and fabricators with what they need to best meet the demands of their customers,” Bowman said. “Adding bindings is another example of how Shuford Mills recognizes and responds to industry requests.” Constructed with double-folded and glued edges, Outdura bindings are available in straight-cut or bias-cut, 3/4 inch or 7/8 inch wide, on 100-yard spools. The bindings come in 14 of Outdura’s solid colors. Available in two weights, 100 percent solution-dyed Outdura fabric is water-repellant, provides UV protection and, if kept clean, will not mildew. The tough, 9.25-ounce fabric for marine and awning use comes in more than 25 colors. The 8-ounce fabric for the furniture, umbrella and cushion markets come in solids, shantungs, and new coordinated collections of jacquards, solids and stripes.
