TX-based furniture company Four Hands announced that it will be showing a variety of new looks at the High Point October market, which will include continuations of their organic/green efforts and some interesting takes on classic style. This fall Four Hands is going back to basics and returning to the idea of pure and simple. Clean lines and a straightforward approach to design inspires modern interpretations of the classics. Wood and metal, modern cube forms, and fresh twists with green materials mark some of the new introductions. Pared down details accentuate form and a sleek style. “It’s as much about the elements you leave out as what you put in,” says Founder/CEO Brett Hatton. “We have always believed in allowing the materials to speak for themselves.” Bamboo paired with birch creates a modern organic style in the Sumatra collection of tables. The Cophenhagen collection of tables, sideboards, and vitrines incorporates iron and rosewood for a sophisticated rustic elegance. The Somerset collection is made entirely of reclaimed tanguile wood, an abundant, unendangered, moderately hard wood found throughout the Philippines. Its deep reddish color and fine graining give it a modern eco-friendly approach to style. The Zen collection’s chic mix of chrome, eco-friendly tanguile wood and clean lines offers unbeatable style in this collection of tables.
