Thomasville Furniture Adds Eric Easter To Senior Management Team

Thomasville Furniture Industries announced that Eric Easter will join the company and its management team in the newly created position of Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing. The appointment is effective June 23, 2003. In this new post, Easter will assume responsibility for all Thomasville Division sales; the Thomasville Home Furnishing Store, Gallery and distribution programs, Thomasville’s national and retail branding and marketing initiatives, and Thomasville brand licensing operations. He will report directly to Tom Tilley, President and CEO, Thomasville Furniture Industries. “Eric comes to Thomasville with an exceptional retail background,” said Tilley. “In addition to having held senior positions at three of our industry’s most respected retailers, Eric has served on numerous manufacturer advisory boards. His breadth of knowledge and experience will be an invaluable asset to Thomasville and the areas of our company that he will oversee.” Most recently President and Chief Operating Officer of Kittle’s in Indianapolis, Easter’s previous positions include Executive Vice President, Merchandising, Marketing and Operations at Kirschman’s in New Orleans, and Vice President of Marketing and Merchandising at Evans Furniture in Oklahoma City. Easter is a graduate of the University of Virginia, where he majored in Finance and Management. He and his wife, Kathryn, have two grown sons.
