Hearst Brand Development announced a licensing agreement with Jardin de Ville, a leading outdoor furniture manufacturer, to design and distribute a distinctive line of Town & Country branded outdoor home furnishings. This agreement marks Town & Country’s first major foray into extending the premier luxury lifestyle media brand to products for the discerning, affluent consumer.
The first of several Jardin de Ville Town & Country outdoor furniture collections debuts at High Point Market on October 1-7 at the company’s showroom in InterHall, booth #303. Available at fine home furnishing stores nationwide in May 2008, the collection reflects the Town & Country reader’s passion for superior quality, sophisticated design, and entertaining inside and outside the home.
Perhaps no one piece better represents the Town & Country lifestyle than the Town & Country Pavilion. Offering an oasis of luxury hotel indulgence in the comfort of one’s own home, this cabana-like shelter or abri cabrio features a retractable roof, sturdy, easy-to-install framing, and flowing privacy curtains.
The Pavilion and a six-piece modular collection of deep seating, including a sleek, black daybed, armless chairs and two-seaters, are hand wickered from round weave Hularo® fibers, a hardwearing, high quality synthetic European material that is dirt repellant, toxin free, biodegradable and recyclable. Luxuriously thick cushions and accent pillows, standard in white, charcoal and red Sunbrella® fabric, are also customizable in a full range colors and patterns.
“Town & Country has long been the luxury home owner’s most trusted resource,” said Glen Ellen Brown, Vice President of Hearst Brand Development. “Through our partnership with Jardin de Ville, we’re offering the high level of taste and sophistication in fine outdoor furnishings that the reader has come to expect from Town and Country.”
“Today’s luxury lifestyle demands the same level of sophistication and quality in outdoor living as indoor entertaining commented Johanne Bourque, President of Jardin de Ville. "We're delighted to have the opportunity to partner with such a premier luxury brand in bringing the Town & Country collection to the homes of affluent consumers."
