Spiller Furniture of Columbus Wins Most Improved Store 2007

Spiller Furniture of Columbus, Mississippi has been named “Most Improved Store 2007” by the Southeastern Home Furnishings Association (SEHFA). The award was presented at the annual convention, held this year at the Grand Hotel in Point Clear, Alabama in August. The award is presented based on a vote of furniture representatives across the area and is based on overall appearance of the store. The Columbus store was formerly located in Downtown Columbus but moved last year to a larger location on Highway 45 in Columbus. Spiller Furniture Family of Stores (SAFS) has 14 stores in Alabama, 1 in Columbus, MS, and 1 in Starkville, MS. SAFS is currently celebrating their 60th year of being in business. SEHFA is an affiliate of the National Home Furnishings Association (NHFA) which is the nation’s largest organization devoted specifically to the needs and interests of home furnishings retailers. NHFA’s membership comprises 2800 corporate entities representing 10,000 stores in all 50 states and several foreign countries.
