BIFMA Standards Forum scheduled during NEOCON

In an effort to educate manufacturers, designers, specifiers and dealers regarding new editions of BIFMA's Office Seating and Panel Systems standards, and BIFMA's Ergonomics Guideline, an association forum will be held on Tuesday, June 17, 2003 during NEOCON in Chicago, Illinois. BIFMA's Ergonomics Guideline has been available for a over a year, and along with the recent release of the new editions of BIFMA's standard for Office Seating and Panel Systems will be the primary focus of the presentation. Featured presenters include Dick Driscoll, Technical Services Manager of BIFMA, Mr. Randy Ruster of Herman Miller, and Ms. Lucy Hart of Global Group. Randy Ruster is Chairman of BIFMA's Engineering Committee. Lucy Hart serves as Chair of BIFMA's Subcommittee on Ergonomics. Both these individuals bring many years of industry experience in the area of standards development. Attendees will find the forum very informative and have an opportunity to discuss any standards questions with the individuals directly involved in standards development for the office furniture industry.
