McGee Returns To Head Up MMPI Leasing Team

Merchandise Mart Properties, Inc. (MMPI) recently announced the appointment of Tim McGee as vice president of leasing for MMPI properties in High Point, NC, the largest home furnishings market in the world.
For the past three and a half years, McGee has served as vice president of leasing for the Showplace complex in High Point. Prior to this, he was vice president of leasing for MMPI High Point, bringing with him several years of previous experience from the Atlanta Market.
As vice president of leasing, McGee will have overall responsibility for leasing the 2.1 million square feet of permanent and temporary space in MMPI’s six buildings in High Point (Plaza Suites, Furniture Plaza, National Furniture Mart, Market Square/Suites at Market Square, Hamilton Market, 300 S. Main Street). McGee will report directly to Tom Mitchell, senior vice president and general manager of MMPI High Point.
“I worked with Tom Mitchell at the Atlanta Market and again during my time as vice president of leasing at MMPI, and am thrilled to be working with him and his team again,” said Tim McGee. “I see great potential and growth opportunities for MMPI in High Point, and I am excited to be part of their future growth strategy.”
McGee will manage the three directors of leasing who specialize in temporary exhibit space sales; Travis Carter, Shannon Lee, and Julie Messner; as well as the director of leasing for permanent space, Jamie Gragg.

McGee is actively involved with various local community organizations through his involvement on a number of boards and volunteer committees. McGee earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Duke University. He resides in Greensboro with his wife and two children.
