PROFITsystems announces release of Version 10.1--more of what retailers have asked for

PROFITsystems Inc. recently announced the much-anticipated release of version 10.1. In this new release are many new features and streamlined functionality processes, requested by the largest client user base in the industry.
PROFITwindows is now fully integrated with Micro*D’s PreVue software. This video cataloging software permits importing either one piece of merchandise or an entire cart full, directly into the sale without having to re-key one piece of information. A huge timesaver that not only reduces expenses, but also prevents errors from re-keying, and vastly improves customer satisfaction.
Additionally the delivery module has been enhanced with the ability to enforce and require delivery charges. This is a tremendous feature for those retailers looking to increase their revenue and control delivery costs.
PROFITwindows delivery module has a new Delivery Capacity Program. The “Delivery Capacities” is a fantastic new feature that contains entry fields, which you can specify capacities for each delivery truck, by piece, weight, number of stops and value in dollars, or any combination thereof. These capacity values are automatically monitored at the time of adding the sale and scheduling deliveries. This new feature will also help prevent overbooking and overtime.
A new “Comprehension Delivery Manifest” now can be printed along with delivery receipts. The manifest contains a wealth of information each driver will need daily – delivery address, number of pieces, number of stops, value of each delivery, as well as the information regarding the truck number, mileage and driver information. In addition, Routeview truck routing software has integrated with PROFITwindows to maximize efficiency by mapping out the most direct routes.
PROFITwindows also includes the Manager’s Dashboard. Just as the instrument cluster on your car’s dashboard gives you the information you need to operate your automobile, the “Managers Dashboard” gives an up-to-date snapshot of the information you need to operate your business, on demand, throughout the day. The screen displays totals for Cash Transactions, Cash Group Accounts, Inventory, Receivables, Payables—and Written and Delivered sales totals, both for “today” and for a selected date range. The Manager’s Dashboard also allows you to “drill down” two levels, displaying each additional level of detail within the list box. The security levels required being able to see each facet of information as well as cost and gross margin could be set to control access.
Product returns and exchanges are now handled on a single ticket along with the replacement merchandise. This is a good example of the streamlined processes now included in the software designed to save you time and money.
In addition, a set of management reports have been developed specifically for the modern retailer to simplify critical metrics storeowners need. Additionally, Trax sales floor opportunity management software has been integrated to help you to implement customer relationship management (CRM) best practices, close rates, and ticket values.
