Kane Carpet finalized plans today to host a celebration at its newly expanded facility following the Atlanta Rug Market in January. The reception will mark the official opening of Kane’s 150% expansion of its headquarters and distribution center in Calhoun, Ga. The new building is well over 200,000 square feet and will house a massive stock of world-class woven carpets, area rugs and roll runners. In addition, the facility will be home to rows of carpet cutting tables, an expanded customer service center and some of the most advanced carpet fabrication machinery in the world.
The Ribbon Cutting will take place on January 21, 2008, in Calhoun, Ga., at 4:30 pm followed by gala dinner. Among the expected attendees are Kane’s customers, employees, sales staff, press and guests. During the celebration, Kane intends to honor many of its customers. As Kane President Herb Frank states, “Kane’s success and growth has been a gift from our customers, our gift back to them is the best Customer Service and back up in the industry. This facility will provide the infrastructure to cut and ship quickly, have an immense stock on hand, and increase the number of customer service professionals.” The building will increase Kane’s warehouse space from 85,000 square feet to over 210,000.
The event immediately follows the Atlanta Rug Market so all employees and guests can easily attend. Kane has a permanent Area Rug Showroom in the Merchandise Mart, Suite 6C3.
