No Deal Yet For Sale of Klingman's Furniture

WZZM 13 News reported that employees of Retailer Klingman's Furniture in Grand Rapids Michigan were called in to pick up applications they could use to apply for jobs under Klingman's new management. Subsequently, Huizenga Group, the company expected to purchase Klingman's, released a statement saying that no agreement had been finalized between the two companies. WoodTV8 (http://www.woodtv.com) quoted Michael Borm, the Executive Vice President of the Huizenga Group, who said that, "there is interest and have been extensive discussions between Huizenga Group and Klingman's, but as of today (January 2nd) there is no agreement."
