ViewIT Technologies to launch 3Dream™ at WHFA’s Launch Pad at 2008 Las Vegas Market

The Western Home Furnishings Association (WHFA) announced that ViewIT Technologies, a 15-year-old Design Technology company will debut its online, cutting edge 3Dream™ design system at WHFA’s Launch Pad, located within the Retailer Resource Center (RRC) in Building B, 16th floor at the January 2008 Las Vegas Market. ViewIT Technologies was founded in 1992 by owners Ross and Donna Barlett, with backgrounds, respectively, in the office furnishings business as well as retail sales in management. In 2001, the duo developed and patented The Board, a portable space planning system designed to give users computer-quality plans without the hardware or software. 3Dream™ (Dream, Design, Deliver) is the next step in empowering retailers and interior professionals, large or small, to better manage projects. Combining the power of the internet, with three-dimensional versions of their products, 3Dream™ quickly and easily creates breathtaking interiors in minutes. “Fear of the unknown, fear of making a wrong choice, fear of being sold something someone doesn’t want and fear of having their dream home become more like a nightmare are all eliminated with 3Dream™,” said Ross Barlett. “Our industry is all about providing options and that can be overwhelming for the customer. In that instance, price doesn’t matter nor will delivery or creative financing. If your customer can’t picture the image you are trying to create for them, you’ve lost them. 3Dream™ allows the customer to visualize your products three-dimensionally in their own environment. You can change everything until you like it, eliminating any reason not to buy,” said Donna Barlett. 3Dream™ operates as a monthly subscription with no up-front license fees with a 30-day free trial period. Flexibility is a key factor. An account can be suspended and then reactivated at any time. The cost for retailers and in-store or independent designers is $39.00 per month. Product vendors pay $995 plus a modeling fee (per item). “If they have already created their own 3D models, they can supply those directly to us,” said Donna Barlett. The Launch Pad, 40 square feet of prime real-estate located within the RRC, is designed to support suppliers and manufacturers in the introduction of new products and innovative promotions. Retailers, product vendors and media may arrange private appointments at the Las Vegas Market in January with Ross and Donna Barlett.
