The International Sleep Products Association (ISPA) will host
ISPA EXPO 2008, the world’s largest tradeshow devoted exclusively to the mattress industry, March 12-15, 2008 in Baltimore, MD, at the Baltimore Convention Center. This biennial event features the largest selection of exhibits with the latest component materials, equipment, machinery, supplies and services specific to the mattress industry. The four-day event brings mattress producers and industry suppliers together from around the world to shop, learn, and build important business relationships. Educational sessions include key industry topics such as updates from the CPSC on Part 1633-related inspections, how to strengthen relationships between manufacturers, retailers and customers, how to use industry statistics, and understanding the mattress consumer.
This major exhibition of mattress machinery and related components, supplies and services will highlight the industry’s technological advances in a year of adjustment to the new Part 1633 FR open-flame standard. Suppliers from all around the globe will offer product demonstrations where attendees can see and compare a wealth of products under one roof at one time.
“The ISPA EXPO is the best opportunity to stay current on technology, equipment and business trends,” noted Jimmy Orders, president of Park Place Corporation. He added, “It is also the best opportunity there is to stay in personal contact with industry friends and associates.”
“ISPA EXPO 2008 offers manufacturers valuable opportunities to meet with colleagues from around the world during this important industry event,” noted ISPA President Dick Doyle. “Aside from the opportunity to efficiently tap into the very latest technologies and services, attendees are offered top-notch educational sessions to help enhance their businesses. There are also plenty of opportunities to make business connections and build relationships with colleagues within this dynamic industry,” he added.
There is already plenty of excitement building around the stage premiere of the industry’s own Insomniaczzz band – which takes place at the Wednesday evening Take Me Out to the Ballgame opening Welcome Reception.
Other fun social events are planned throughout the show, including the Industry Breakfast featuring well-known humorist and syndicated columnist Dave Berry.
